Product Highlights

Type: Cardiac Vascular General Imaging OB/GYN Emergency Medicine Anesthesia Veterinary

The SonoSite M-Turbo Ultrasound Machine is one of the top portable ultrasound machines and one of our best-sellers for a wide variety of applications.

The used SonoSite M-Turbo is arguably our most popular portable ultrasound machines for our rental market, as well.

The popularity of the SonoSite M-Turbo is that its so versatile, has great image quality, is cost-effective, durable, and easy to use. This makes the refurbished M-Turbo a top choice for Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Mobile Imaging, Pain Management, Orthopedics, vascular and venous applications.

For physicians, we recommend the SonoSite products because the learning curve is very small, it boots faster than any other machine, and is designed to be a tool to help them perform another task, such as identifying a musculoskeletal injury, perform a FAST exam in the emergency room, or to do a needle-guided nerve block. For all of these situations, the M-Turbo is our top recommendation for an economical unit with great image quality.

The SonoSite M-Turbo is also extremely durable and is one of the toughest ultrasound machines on the market.

SonoSite M-Turbo Review:

We remain big fans of the SonoSite lineup of portable ultrasounds. It’s hard to say a company has done a better job at identifying its target market and providing a fantastic machine for them. SonoSite ultrasound machines are most commonly used by physicians who use it as a tool to accomplish a task (such as needle guidance, identifying tissue damage, etc), and the ultrasound is used to assist in achieving a task or confirming a diagnosis. In most situations, the M-Turbo is ideal in situations that do not require a lot of measurements nor special preset customizations. The SonoSite M-Turbo is well-designed for the physician market and takes away a lot of the complex buttons, knobs, and complex menus found on most portable ultrasound machines.

With this design, it’s important to note that the M-Turbo is not ideal for heavy diagnostic use. Its user interface is designed for performing faster exams, not extensive measurements and diagnostics. While it can perform all of these tasks, it is not as efficient as other, larger portable ultrasound machines.
