Brian,
I don’t have all of the options you do on your S2 using the 7-14 probe when I tune the image parameters. For example, I am missing sector width and line density amongst other less useful things like the rotation.
I also notice compound imaging is not possible in trapezoidal mode (and the image quality is generally much lower).
I wonder what the firmware date/version you are using is? I suspect mine could do with an upgrade (dated May 2013)
I.mean , my transducer ís 40mm long , but it only have 2.5 cm sacaning area , it has a 1.5 cm inactivate , my question is , it only sacan 2.5 cm and has lost 1.5 cm o i need enter to service panel and change some presets , in your s , at 4 cm deep scaning area who sector width apear on menu 2.5 maximum or beyond. If I put in my screen 4 cm image comes small
