Ultrasound movies starting to gain popularity

While ultrasound machines have long been used to provide expectant parents with the very first photos of their unborn child, the technology has now advanced even further to allow for 3d and 4d (time is the fourth dimension) ultrasound video. New businesses are springing up to take advantage of this by purchasing used or refurbished ultrasound equipment and entering the keepsake ultrasound industry. The traditional 2d ultrasound photos are still used, but parents and their family and friends seem to prefer the realism of 3d/4d photos and video.

“Seventy percent of people are introduced to the 3d/4d ultrasound industry because they are pregnant or just had a baby,” said Curt Dimmick of United Imaging Partners of Austin in an article posted on the Killeen Daily Herald. "They see a market void and want to bring this exciting business to their area. We provide them with the foundation and necessary tools to succeed."
