GE Healthcare marks 10 year anniversary in industry with Vivid ultrasound

The last decade has been a period of tremendous growth in the ultrasound industry, and part of that is due to GE Healthcare, which 10 years ago acquired Vingmed Corp and since then has enjoyed great success with the Vivid line of ultrasound machines. Among the most popular of the General Electric ultrasound machines is the GE Vivid 7, one of the top 4-d ultrasound systems on the market today.
In an article on Medicalnewstoday.com, GE's Anders Wold commented on the company’s 10-year run by saying, "To sit back and think about the achievements and strides we've made over the past ten years is remarkable. Perhaps even more remarkable, however, is to think of those achievements as prologue to the endless possibilities ahead."
